'Glen Haffy View - Bruce Trail' by Julie Heinrichs

On The Cover

Artist"It gives me joy to paint and more joy to have someone connect with my painting. My inspiration is to share the beauty I see and I am happiest creating art."

Julie's creativity began with a blessed childhood as part of a close-knit family in rural south western Ontario. Her talented parents and grand parents nurtured her love of nature, flowers and colour. Julie's mother encouraged her to draw and take art classes from an early age. The beauty of the Niagara Escarpment drew Julie and her husband north to the Caledon Hills to raise a family and garden and most recently to Lion's Head, Ontario on the Bruce Peninsula. It is here in a historic home overlooking Georgian Bay that Julie feels she has reached her destination and is inspired to create in a dramatic, impressionistic style. As a lifelong learner, Julie continues to take workshops, grow as an artist and share her love of art with others.
